The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrara shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Finley napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Ferrara lands an elbow.
Ferrara misses with the ground and pound.
Finley manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ferrara's best efforts.
Finley keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Finley is trying to stand.
Ferrara throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Finley is trying to maintain the position but Ferrara is very close to passing his half guard.
Ferrara wants to pass the guard but Finley is defending well.
Ferrara wants to work for an arm triangle but Finley is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Finley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ferrara tries to score a power double leg takedown but Finley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ferrara somewhat.
Finley misses with a series of wild punches.
Ferrara drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Finley throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ferrara looks to land a left hand but Finley moved out of range nicely.
Finley displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ferrara.
Finley slaps away a takedown attempt from Ferrara, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vincenzo Ferrara. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ferrara throws a chopping leg kick but Finley manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Ferrara takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Ferrara looks for a takedown but Finley sprawls well.
A looping hook to the body misses from Finley. Ferrara does a little dance to reset his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ferrara shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Finley pinned against the cage. Finley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ferrara is breathing heavily.
A jab lands there for Finley.
Finley cracks a nice hook into Ferrara's ribs.
Finley lands a hook that stumbles Ferrara back into the cage. Finley follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Ferrara to the canvas! Finley pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Ferrara has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
