The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Vartanov does no damage.
Vartanov walks into a left hand.

It looks like Jorik Vartanov has been cut.
Jorik Vartanov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kelley scores with a decent looking hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kelley drops Vartanov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Vartanov looks back up at him and smiles so Kelley waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

No joy there for Vartanov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Vartanov avoids the head kick by Kelley.
Vartanov fails to land with a series of punches.
Kelley bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vartanov's head backwards.
Vartanov tries a head kick but it misses.
Kelley closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Vartanov out cold! Vartanov corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
