Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Barney Rubble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Shamwow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubble fails in his attempt to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Shamwow. Rubble does a little dance to reset his feet.

Rubble drops his hands momentarily and Shamwow takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Shamwow lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Shamwow has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Shamwow creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Rubble sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Check out the look on Shamwow's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Shamwow postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Rubble is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Shamwow has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Shamwow tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shamwow has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Shamwow works to advance to full mount. Rubble defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Shamwow dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Shamwow scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rubble doesn't seem bothered though.

Shamwow has an Americana. Rubble didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Shamwow is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Shamwow hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
