Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yuu Saga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willy Wonka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuu Saga has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wonka misses with the combination.
Saga fails with a takedown attempt.
Saga uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wonka.
Saga staying out of range there.
Wonka stuffs the takedown.
Wonka ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Saga moves away.
Saga throws a looping overhand right but Wonka ducks down to avoid it.
Wonka misses the shot to the body.
Saga fails with the takedown.

Wonka darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Saga decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Saga passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Wonka!
Wonka avoids a strike by Saga and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Saga's guard! Fantastic escape!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Saga is on top in guard.

Saga postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wonka keeping moving, preventing Saga from controlling successfully.
Wonka wants to stand but Saga is controlling the position.
Saga stands and throws Wonka's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Wonka tries to score with a low kick but Saga moves his leg out of the way.
Saga shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wonka defends it nicely.

Saga feints and as Wonka raises his hands in defense, Saga changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Saga won't allow Wonka to get back to his feet.
Wonka can't keep his opponent in guard - Saga advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Saga is pressing down on Wonka's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wonka is holding on for now.
Wonka looks like he's trying to stand up.

Saga is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wonka doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Saga.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wonka can do anything to dispel that myth.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Saga throws a strike aimed at the side of Wonka's head but Wonka avoids it well.
