Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kerry Woods!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tottori looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tottori looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Woods is fending him off so far but Tottori persists. Nope, Woods circles away and we're back to standing.
Tottori shoots in for a takedown but Woods shows good takedown defense.

Tottori shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tottori showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tottori changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Woods tries to avoid it but Tottori manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Woods to the ground. Woods escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Woods throws out a loose jab but Tottori uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tottori shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Woods as he avoids it easily.
Tottori looks for a takedown but Woods sprawls well.
Tottori is breathing heavily.
Tottori will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Woods looks to score with a jab to the body but Tottori is just out of range.
Tottori uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Woods.
Woods leaves Tottori with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Woods stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Woods wants it to stay on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tottori looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Tottori feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Tottori has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Tottori sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Woods's guard.
Tottori is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Woods!

Tottori jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Woods is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Woods and Tottori has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Woods is trying to get back to his feet.
Woods is not content to let Tottori control the position.

Tottori tries for a kimura but Woods is defending well.

Woods is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Woods is trying to control Tottori's posture but Tottori avoids it.
Tottori throws an elbow but Woods slips to the side and avoids it well.
Tottori tries to move to mount but Woods blocks the move with his legs.

Tottori wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Woods, who protects the arm well.

Woods managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Tottori.
Tottori cracks Woods with a big elbow.
Tottori lands a few punches from side control.
Tottori is looking to take a break and control but Woods is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tottori wants to control for a moment but Woods uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Woods blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tottori.
Woods is trying to stand.
Tottori is looking to take a break and control but Woods is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tottori looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
