Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Petri Pikkarainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sami Kolari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pikkarainen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kolari swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kolari misses with a low kick as Pikkarainen jumps back.
No joy there for Pikkarainen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kolari throws a right and a left that Pikkarainen avoids nicely.

Pikkarainen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kolari sprawls well initially but Pikkarainen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Kolari manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Pikkarainen wants to pass the guard but Kolari is keeping the position.
Pikkarainen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Pikkarainen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Pikkarainen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kolari to his feet.

A nice leg kick lands there from Kolari.

Pikkarainen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kolari's guard.

Pikkarainen has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kolari doesn't defend quickly enough and Pikkarainen has managed to lock this one up! Can Kolari escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Pikkarainen on a fantastic submission victory.
