Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manny Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silva Beltran Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva Beltran Jr will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee has closed the distance and engaged Beltran Jr in a clinch.

Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lee clinches with his opponent.
Lee lands a knee to the body.
Beltran Jr goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lee prevents it.
Beltran Jr drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lee pulls his leg out and moves away.
A punch combination from Beltran Jr misses.
Beltran Jr tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Beltran Jr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Beltran Jr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Lee rushes Beltran Jr and presses him up against the ropes.
Lee gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Beltran Jr.
Manny Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Silva Beltran Jr.

Lee passes the guard and advances to mount!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Beltran Jr lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
