The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Manhood. That one must have hurt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Manhood tries to close the distance and clinch but James swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
James tries to score a power double leg takedown but Manhood sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten James somewhat.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

That was a close second round but I would say that Melvin Manhood will probably get the nod.
