Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkins misses with a two punch combination.
Perkins looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Perkins looks to land a left hand but Beschastnykh moved out of range nicely.
Perkins pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Perkins throws a right hand that Beschastnykh ducks under and follows up with a left that Beschastnykh also avoids with ease.
Zachary Perkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perkins is trying hard to land a takedown here. Beschastnykh sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Beschastnykh throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Perkins was covering up waiting for the punch and Beschastnykh finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Beschastnykh postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Perkins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Beschastnykh closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Perkins did well to prevent Beschastnykh getting side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Beschastnykh decides to stand up, so the ref orders Perkins to his feet.

Beschastnykh closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Perkins did well to prevent Beschastnykh getting side control.
Beschastnykh slips a nice elbow through Perkins's hands, connecting with Perkins's forehead.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Beschastnykh looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Perkins with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Oh Perkins is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Beschastnykh is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Perkins is hurt! He's hurt bad - Beschastnykh fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Perkins from any more punishment! Congratulations to Beschastnykh! Great finish!
