Hoy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Go Ninja-Vanilla Ice. Peekay Williams has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams misses with a series of wild punches.
Hoy throws out a loose jab but Williams uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hoy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Williams did well to prevent Hoy getting side control.

Hoy is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Hoy is looking to advance position but Williams won't allow it.
Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hoy on the ground.
Hoy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Williams is staying active underneath Hoy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hoy wants to take a breather but Williams is having none of it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Williams is just holding on here. Hoy manages to take his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hoy tries to get the hooks in deep but Williams pushed the leg off.
Well, with Hoy on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Williams is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
