The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quake throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
von Herrmann shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than von Herrmann was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Quake on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Quake tries to get out of the position.
von Herrmann pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
It looks like Earth Quake has been cut.
von Herrmann prevents Quake from getting the reversal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Quake wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by von Herrmann.
Quake wants to control but von Herrmann is having none of it.

Jeez, Earth Quake's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Earth Quake's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
