The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monster connects with a good right hand that stumbles Flynn. Flynn circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Flynn tries to clinch but Monster moves out of range.
Monster looks to score with a jab to the body but Flynn is just out of range.

Monster throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Flynn was covering up waiting for the punch and Monster finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Monster works to advance to full mount. Flynn defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Flynn is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
