Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rogers Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maia Bee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson comes to the cage accompanied by "Tell me how u want 2 b done" (Prince). Maia Bee has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rogers Nelson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bee manages to avoid it.
Nelson throws a jab but it's blocked by Bee.
Nelson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bee tries to avoid it but Nelson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bee to the ground. Bee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bee leaves Nelson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bee moves out of range of the strikes.
Bee throws a front kick aimed at Nelson's knee but Nelson avoids it well.
Nelson tries to bum rush Bee with a series of wild strikes but Bee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nelson throws a jab when Bee was well out of range.
Bee throws a head kick but Nelson moves out of range.
Nelson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bee defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rogers Nelson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bee gets cracked there but stands up to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nelson wants to clinch up but Bee keeps it at a distance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bee wants to get back to his feet but Nelson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Bee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Nelson thows a big elbow that misses.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Nelson closes the distance and clinches up with Bee, looking for a takedown. Nelson pushes Bee against the cage but Bee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bee has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nelson tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bee lands a good knee to the midsection. Nelson won't want to take too many of those.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Bee obliges.
Bee is looking to control Nelson's arms but Nelson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bee has his back to the cage.

Nelson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bee fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Nelson is out of range.
Bee looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Nelson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bee was covering up waiting for the punch and Nelson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nelson is one step ahead there.
Nelson trying to control the position from guard on top but Bee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bee wants to stand and escape but Nelson is having none of it.
Bee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nelson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nelson passes Bee's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Nelson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Bee looks like he's trying to stand up.

Nelson seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Bee is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
