Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Prince Adam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baldur Eirikur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam comes to the cage accompanied by He-Man: Opening Theme. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Baldur Eirikur!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adam shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Adam was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Eirikur is looking to get to half guard.

Adam goes for an armbar but Eirikur turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Eirikur.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Adam working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Eirikur doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Eirikur manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Eirikur decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Eirikur throws a nice looking combination but Adam bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Adam takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Adam swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Some bone on bone action there as Adam checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Eirikur ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Adam moves away.
Adam shoots in and drives through. Eirikur sprawls well.
Baldur Eirikur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Eirikur connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Baldur Eirikur is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Adam drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Adam wants to control from the top but Eirikur keeps moving.
Eirikur tries to land a sweep but no joy.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Eirikur holds on and takes a little breather.
Eirikur is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Eirikur tries to stand but Adam is controlling from the bottom.

Adam is working an open guard so Eirikur takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Eirikur moves out of range of the strikes.

Eirikur connects with a single shot there.
Adam shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Eirikur but Eirikur pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Eirikur looks to score with a jab to the body but Adam is just out of range.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Adam's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Eirikur scores with a decent looking hook.

and Adam counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Adam is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Eirikur throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Adam misses with an uppercut.
Eirikur scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Eirikur misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Eirikur lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Adam at a distance.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A lazy left from Eirikur finds it's target.
Eirikur Rushes Adam and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Adam is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Eirikur Piles on the pressure and Adam crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
