The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owens avoids the body shot from Faber.
Owens ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Faber moves away.
Faber throws an overhand right that lands on Owens's shoulder, as Owens tries to avoid the shot.
Nice body punch from Owens.
Owens avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Owens fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Faber manages to avoid it.
Faber staying out of range there.
Owens ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Faber moves away.
Faber throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Owens misses with a wild body shot.
Faber tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Owens really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Faber displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Owens throws out the jab.
Faber throws the left hand but Owens avoids the punch easily.

Faber shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Owens but Owens pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The fighters circle momentarily. Faber darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Faber throws a monster overhand right that drops Owens! Faber follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
