Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rico Niven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Handkanten Hans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Niven kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Drop the world. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niven tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hans swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hans should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Hans - that will leave a mark!
Niven scores with the left hand. Hans knows he should have avoided that one.
Niven throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Hans can't escape the position.
Hans wants to hold on but Niven pushes him away.
Hans is looking to get to half guard.

Niven goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hans turns into him and now he's in Niven's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hans throwing strikes from guard but Niven blocks nicely.
Hans has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hans drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Hans as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Niven screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Hans! Nice submission victory there!
