Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lou Sifer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsu Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yamamoto feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sifer's calf. Yamamoto drops his shoulder and cracks Sifer with a huge uppercut! Sifer goes down! Can Yamamoto finish him?
Sifer is rocked! Yamamoto tries to stand but Sifer is controlling from the bottom. Oh Sifer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Yamamoto is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Sifer seems to have got his legs back now. Yamamoto stands and steps away. Sifer gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Yamamoto lands the left hand. A jab lands there for Yamamoto. Yamamoto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yamamoto connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Katsu Yamamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yamamoto shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yamamoto showed some decent athleticism there. Yamamoto tries to stand and escape but Sifer is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sifer works his way to full guard. Good work. Yamamoto must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sifer is breathing heavily. Sifer looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sifer is trying to keep Yamamoto in close.
Yamamoto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sifer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sifer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yamamoto gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Yamamoto is stalling in the full guard. Sifer is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sifer is working an open guard so Yamamoto takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sifer throws a right and a left that Yamamoto avoids nicely. Sifer blocks a jab. Sifer shoots and misses and Yamamoto counters by moving into the clinch. Yamamoto scores with a knee to the head.

Yamamoto walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sifer checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Yamamoto throws a head kick but Sifer moves out of range.
Sifer tries for a takedown but Yamamoto circles away easily and Yamamoto counters with a one-two to the body. Nice sprawl there from Yamamoto as Sifer shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lou Sifer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sifer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yamamoto gets a clinch. Yamamoto breaks from the clinch.
Sifer on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Yamamoto. Yamamoto obviously looking to wear him down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yamamoto tries to clinch but Sifer is having none of it. Yamamoto scores with a three punch combo!
Sifer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yamamoto pinned against the cage. Yamamoto gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Sifer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Yamamoto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Yamamoto lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Sifer can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Yamamoto and Sifer drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Yamamoto.
