Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Chaos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Wheldon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Chaos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Wheldon!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wheldon wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Chaos cracks a nice hook into Wheldon's ribs.
Wheldon misses the shot to the body.
Wheldon chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chaos can pounce on him.
Wheldon paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Chaos throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wheldon throws a sloppy head kick and Chaos moves out of range easily.
Chaos's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Chaos duly obliges.


It looks like Kevin Wheldon has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chaos closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wheldon connects with a crisp jab.
Chaos misses with a takedown attempt - Wheldon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chaos tries to land a front kick but Wheldon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Chaos misses with a head kick.
Chaos swats away the attempt to clinch by Wheldon.
Wheldon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chaos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Chaos throws a combination that misses
and Chaos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wheldon chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Wheldon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chaos circles away quickly and effectively.
Chaos tries to clinch there but Wheldon circles away.
Wheldon gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Chaos counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Wheldon!
Chaos is breathing heavily.

Chaos trying to control but Wheldon is having none of it.

Chaos is working for a guillotine from mount but Wheldon frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Wheldon's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Wheldon wants to try and get back to his feet.
Chaos lands with some strikes.
Chaos lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Wheldon wants to use the ropes to get back to his feet here.

Chaos lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Wheldon is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Wheldon is squirming around, avoiding Chaos's attempts to control the action.

BOOM! Chaos connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Chaos takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Chaos lands with some strikes.

Chaos controlling from mount.
Wheldon really wants to buck Chaos off and get back to his feet.
Chaos has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Wheldon's face.
Chaos landing punches.
The referee warns Wheldon that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chaos with a couple of short strikes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Chaos looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wheldon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Chaos falls off balance throwing a combination
and Wheldon counters with a big head kick but Chaos shrugs it off.
Wheldon takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nice body punch from Wheldon.
Decent striking displayed by Wheldon there.
Wheldon scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kyle Chaos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wheldon works Chaos's body with a nice hook.
Chaos has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wheldon finds it's way round the side to connect with Chaos's head.
Chaos takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Chaos fails in his attempt to clinch.
Chaos misses with a double jab
and Wheldon counters with a left to the body.
Wheldon scores with a jab to the head.
Chaos throws a hook but Wheldon blocks it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Chaos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chaos takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

A right-left combo lands from Wheldon.
Wheldon listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Wheldon lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Wheldon.
Wheldon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.


Chaos is rocked!
Chaos ducks right into an uppercut from Wheldon.
Oh Chaos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wheldon lands a glancing blow to the side of Chaos's head.
Wheldon scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Wheldon throws a one two combo.
Chaos has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wheldon finds it's way round the side to connect with Chaos's head.
Wheldon drops Chaos with a big left hand! Chaos is injured, injured bad! Wheldon jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin Wheldon!
