The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grosso tries to keep at a distance but McDanver has taken the fight into the clinch.
Grosso jumps guard but McDanver stands there with Grosso around his waist. Grosso gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
McDanver has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Grosso is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
McDanver keeps control of Grosso as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Grosso has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. McDanver avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

McDanver has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Grosso is trying to keep an underhook but McDanver manages to get the takedown into half guard.
McDanver is thwarting Grosso's attempts to control the position.
Grosso is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McDanver is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Grosso sees it coming and defends easily.
McDanver throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

McDanver is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
McDanver is looking to take a break and control but Grosso is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
McDanver throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

McDanver passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Grosso!
McDanver scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Grosso is rocked!

It looks like Maximo Grosso has been cut.
McDanver unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Grosso wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! McDanver celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
