Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fjodor Kanchelskis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex Munroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanchelskis takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kanchelskis tries to clinch up but Munroe circles away and keeps his distance.
A punch combination from Kanchelskis misses.
Kanchelskis shoots in looking for a takedown. Munroe tries to sprawl out of it but Kanchelskis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Munroe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kanchelskis scores with a one two! Munroe had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Rex Munroe has been cut.
Kanchelskis dives in and grabs Munroe's left leg, looking for a takedown. Munroe pushes down on Kanchelskis's head and hops out.
Munroe's corner calls for a 1-2. Munroe obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Munroe is looking to control Kanchelskis's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Munroe avoid being mounted?

Munroe connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kanchelskis momentarily.
