Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pepe Lombardi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Burla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lombardi instigates a clinch.
Burla has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Lombardi gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Burla creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Lombardi gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Burla.
Lombardi is working for takedown but Burla is calmly controlling the position for now.

Lombardi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Burla looks to throw the jab but Lombardi is out of range.

Burla decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Burla accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Burla really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lombardi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
