The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac tries to clinch but Askren moves out of range.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Askren.
Askren lands a nice forearm strike.
Askren lands some shots froms side control.
Mac defending against the ground and pound.
Mac is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Askren has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Askren misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Mac is pushing Askren's head away, looking to escape. Askren manages to hold on to the position though.
Mac wants to get back to his feet but Askren is dominant here and he's now got Mac's back!
Askren lands strikes to the head.

Mac is rocked!
Askren is raining down hard shots and and Mac has had enough - he's tapped out due to the strikes!
