Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederico Pretty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Davidson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I wanna love you. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davidson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Pretty is looking for a sweep. Davidson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Pretty is refusing to be controlled, as Davidson sits in half guard.

Davidson looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Davidson shoots in for a takedown but Pretty shows good takedown defense.

Davidson tries to keep at a distance but Pretty has taken the fight into the clinch.

Pretty breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pretty cracks Davidson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Pretty goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Pretty misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pretty uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Pretty decides to pull guard.

Pretty is looking for a triangle but Davidson pushes his legs off easily.

Davidson drops back looking for a leg! Pretty is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pretty manages to kick Davidson off! Davidson jumps back into Pretty's guard.

Pretty escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Davidson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Pretty should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pretty is looking for a triangle but Davidson pushes his legs off easily.

Pretty has his foot on Davidson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davidson works his way back into a safe position though.

Pretty escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Davidson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Davidson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Pretty wriggles free and stands up.
Pretty throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pretty misses with a looping left.
Davidson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frederico Pretty dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Pretty stuffs the takedown.
Pretty moves in looking to clinch but Davidson pushes him off.
Pretty tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Davidson was well out of range. Poor timing from Pretty.

Davidson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Pretty is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Davidson is aware though and is defending well.
Davidson is looking to stand up but Pretty won't let him.
Pretty wants to get back to his feet but Davidson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Davidson is looking for a kimura here.
Davidson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pretty keeps working.

Davidson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Pretty has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Davidson is looking to defend but Pretty has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Davidson! Pretty pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Davidson taps out and this one is all over!
