Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sultan Seama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sultan Seama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wanderlei Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson clinches up against the cage.
Johnson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Seama pulls his leg out and moves away.
Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Seama.
Johnson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Seama throws a shot from downtown. Johnson moves away and avoids it.
Seama shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Johnson clinches up with Seama and pushes him back against the cage.

Johnson jumps into guard, dragging Seama to the mat.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Johnson is on top in guard.

Johnson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Johnson wants to pass the guard but Seama is keeping the position.
Seama is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Johnson is controlling him.
Seama really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Johnson trying to control but Seama is working from the bottom.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Johnson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Seama might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Seama has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Seama looking for a guillotine here but Johnson defends easily.
Seama is breathing heavily.
Johnson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Johnson trying to control but Seama is working from the bottom.
Johnson connects with a couple of short punches.
Johnson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Seama is keeping the position for now.
Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Seama is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Johnson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Seama has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Johnson is looking to defend but Seama has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Johnson! Seama pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Johnson taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sultan Seama!
