Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David comes into the arena with Craig David - Rise and Fall blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David shoots in and drives through. Dean sprawls well.

and David counters with a shoot takedown. Dean fights it but they end up in guard.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

David has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dean is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

David is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dean defends well.

Dean wants to control but David is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. David connects with a nice short shot to Dean's temple.

David thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dean's head.
