The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biggums fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Thompson throws a half hearted mid kick.
Thompson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Biggums takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Thompson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Biggums swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Thompson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Thompson throws out a loose jab but Biggums uses good head movement to avoid it.

Thompson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Biggums stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Calvin Thompson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Thompson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Biggums manages to avoid it.

Thompson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Biggums's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Biggums's back!

Biggums is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Biggums has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
