Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thor Hushovd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ike Clanton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Thor Hushovd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ike Clanton!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hushovd throws an overhand right that lands on Clanton's shoulder, as Clanton tries to avoid the shot.
Hushovd is looking to land body kicks.
Clanton loads up on a big right hand but Hushovd slips the punch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hushovd.
Hushovd lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hushovd.
Clanton shoots in and bounces Hushovd off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hushovd looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Hushovd is working hard here to advance position.
Clanton trying to control the position from guard on top but Hushovd is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Clanton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hushovd works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Clanton is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hushovd has his foot on Clanton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Clanton works his way back into a safe position though.
Hushovd is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Clanton throws a lazy right hand but Hushovd sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Clanton scores a takedown into full mount!
Hushovd is in a horrible position here. Clanton smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Clanton lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Clanton cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Hushovd takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Clanton's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ike Clanton!
