The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

cook shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

cook is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sparrow is surviving well by controlling cook's body position as best he can.

cook goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sparrow turns into him and now he's in cook's guard.
Sparrow postures up.
Sparrow trying to stand up but can't free himself from cook's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sparrow wants to stand and escape but instead cook has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sparrow keeping moving, preventing cook from controlling successfully.
cook throws a strike but Sparrow rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

cook might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now cook is on top in guard.
cook's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Sparrow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with cook. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
cook pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sparrow is keeping the position for now.
cook throws and elbow that misses. Sparrow uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in cook's guard. Nice move by Sparrow!
Sparrow would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
cook has control of Sparrow's left arm, preventing Sparrow from doing any damage.

cook has his feet on Sparrow's thighs here. He's pushed Sparrow off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Sparrow screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
