PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cheese Haze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grent Seeka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Grent Seeka!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haze displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Seeka throws out the jab.
Seeka tries to close the distance and clinch up but Haze swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Seeka fails with an attempt to clinch.
Haze tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Seeka swivels and escapes.
Seeka tries to close the distance and clinch but Haze swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Seeka rushes Haze and presses him up against the cage.

Seeka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Haze throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Seeka was covering up waiting for the punch and Haze finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Haze sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Haze lands a couple of elbows.
Haze slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Seeka is looking to stand up but Haze isn't so interested in that idea.
Seeka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Haze. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Haze sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Seeka's guard.
Seeka tries to roll over but Haze keeps him under control.
Haze trying to mount his opponent but Seeka defends it.
Seeka pushes Haze off looking to stand but Haze dives back in and keeps control.
Haze moves nicely into side control.
Haze is staying tight to Seeka's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Seeka tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Haze lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Seeka.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Haze keeps control of the position easily here as Seeka tries to buck him off.

Haze is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Seeka has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Haze has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Seeka taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Haze doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Cheese Haze!
