PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colossus Duffee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duffee has chosen blow me away - breaking benjamin as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colossus Duffee!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Duffee.
Bob avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Duffee wants to clinch up but Bob keeps it at a distance.
Bob moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Bob shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Duffee defends it nicely.
Colossus Duffee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duffee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bob swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bob feints and as Duffee raises his hands in defense, Bob changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Bob thows a huge punch but Duffee dodges it nicely.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Duffee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Duffee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Duffee is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Duffee uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bob.

Duffee is looking to clinch but Bob is avoiding it.

Bob misses with a takedown attempt - Duffee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Duffee with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Duffee goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bob turns into him and now he's in Duffee's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Duffee can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
