We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Umezawa takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Guida throws a lazy right hand but Umezawa sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Umezawa throws a chopping leg kick but Guida manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Ray Guida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Guida rushes Umezawa and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Guida breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Umezawa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Guida connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Guida lands a nice looking kick to the body. Umezawa takes a step back to recover.
Umezawa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Guida can pounce on him.
Guida cracks Umezawa with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
