The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godfrey tries to clinch but Landstrimma is having none of it.
Landstrimma throws a lazy right hand but Godfrey sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A head kick misses from Godfrey.
Landstrimma misses with a hook. Godfrey ducked under it nicely.
Landstrimma scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Nathan Godfrey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Landstrimma tries to bum rush Godfrey with a series of wild strikes but Godfrey uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Landstrimma lands an overhand right.
Godfrey misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Landstrimma dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Landstrimma lands a really nice looking cross but Godfrey seems unphased.
Godfrey throws a head kick but Landstrimma moves out of range.

Landstrimma moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Godfrey goes down! Can Landstrimma finish him!?
Godfrey is still in real trouble! Can Landstrimma finish him?
Landstrimma missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Landstrimma postures up in Godfrey's guard and throws a big left but Godfrey blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Landstrimma drops back looking for a leg! Godfrey is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Godfrey manages to kick Landstrimma off! Landstrimma jumps back into Godfrey's guard.
Godfrey seems to have recovered his senses.
Landstrimma might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Landstrimma drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Landstrimma seems to have locked his on tight now - Godfrey screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Landstrimma, as he picks up the win!
