Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Juan Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez tries to clinch up.

It looks like Michael Kiske has been cut.

Kiske jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sanchez is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sanchez and Kiske has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Kiske tries to score with some ground and pound. Sanchez controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

You get the feeling that Sanchez really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Kiske looking to control but Sanchez is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sanchez moves in looking to clinch but Kiske pushes him off.
Sanchez lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Kiske throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sanchez was covering up waiting for the punch and Kiske finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Michael Kiske overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Michael Kiske.
