The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Send closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Calzone did well to prevent Send getting side control.
Calzone tries to roll over but Send keeps him under control.
Send missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Calzone moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Send must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Calzone has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Send is controlling an arm, preventing Calzone from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Calzone is on top in guard.
