Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Manson Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marian Marian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon clinches up with Marian and pushes him back against the cage.
Marian manages to break the clinch.
Dixon tries to bum rush Marian with a series of wild strikes but Marian uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Marian looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dixon tries to clinch but Marian moves out of range.
Dixon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Marian was covering up waiting for the punch and Dixon finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Dixon stands up from Marian's guard - Dixon perhaps looking for a knockout.

Dixon has control of Marian's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Marian regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dixon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Marian looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee asks Dixon politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dixon prefers to stall for the moment though.
You can see the frustration on Marian's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Marian wants to improve his position but Dixon is controlling well.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Marian is looking to advance position but Dixon won't allow it.
Manson Dixon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Marian is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Manson Dixon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Marian stalling away here and it's allowed Dixon to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Manson Dixon.
Well Dixon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
