Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King Kong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, King Kong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor slips a jab from Kong.
Taylor walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Taylor just misses with a punch to the body.
Taylor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kong moves away.
King Kong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Taylor takes a swing at Kong's ribcage but misses.
Kong misses with a wild combination.
Taylor fails with a takedown attempt.
Kong walks into a stiff left hand from Taylor.
Kong digs a good body shot into Taylor's ribs.
Some wild striking there from Kong.

Kong closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kong lands in his opponent's guard.
Taylor wants to stand and escape but Kong is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kong postures up.
Kong controls from within his opponent's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Taylor is trying to hold Kong in close to prevent damage but Kong has managed to pass into half guard.
Kong looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kong tries to stand but can't do so whilst Taylor controls his leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kong decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Taylor. No joy for Kong on that attempt.
Taylor shoots in but no luck this time.
Taylor takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Taylor ducks under a wild hook from Kong.
Kong closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Kong misses with a two punch combination.
Taylor takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kong lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King Kong dominated that round.
That's time! Kong's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Kong misses with a jab, cross combination.
Taylor on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Taylor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kong's waist but Kong gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Taylor off to one side.
Kong jabs Taylor right on the nose. Taylor blinks but takes it well.


Taylor is rocked!
Taylor looks up at the clock. Bad move! Kong lands a right hand from hell, dropping Taylor. Kong pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). King Kong!
