Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jaxon James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yorito Nayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jaxon James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yorito Nayama!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nayama shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with James but James pushes him off and we're back to square one.

James gets the takedown into side control.
James tries to move into full mount but can't pass Nayama's legs.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now James is on top in guard.

James's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Nayama is working for a guillotine from mount but James frees his head quite easily.
James is squirming around, avoiding Nayama's attempts to control the action.
Nayama moves to back control.
James controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Nayama working for a choke but James reverses nicely into Nayama 's guard.
Nayama is trying to control the position but James postures up.

Nayama manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. James manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nayama wants to control from the top but James keeps moving.
James wants to sweep but no luck.
Nayama slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
James is looking for a sweep.

Nayama tries for a kimura but James is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yorito Nayama dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

so James counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Nayama sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed James's guard.

Nayama is trying to work for a kimura but James is defending well.

Nayama is working for a submission of some sort.

Nayama wants to lay and pray for a moment but James keeps working.
Nayama is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
James on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if James tries to get out of the position.

James pushes Nayama off and gets back to his feet.

Nayama pushes down on James's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Nayama works his foot free and advances to mount.
James is desperately trying to improve his position but Nayama has a good base and remains in mount.

Nayama is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! James is forced to tap! Great finish!
