Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rudy Alkofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rudy Alkofer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Victor Drago!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Alkofer misses.

Drago changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Alkofer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Drago tries to clinch but Alkofer moves out of range.

Alkofer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Alkofer wants it to stay on the feet.

Alkofer swats away the attempt to clinch by Drago.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Drago takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Alkofer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Drago has him pressed against the cage.

Alkofer is pressed up against the cage. Drago has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Alkofer down to the mat. Alkofer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Rudy Alkofer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Drago.
Drago misses with a takedown attempt - Alkofer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Drago tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alkofer swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Drago shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Drago was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Alkofer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Drago on the ground.
Drago's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Alkofer is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Drago has the hooks in. Alkofer is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Drago is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
I really don't envy Alkofer right now.

Alkofer is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Drago is not going to allow Alkofer to sit and survive in this position.
I would not like to be Alkofer right now.

Victor Drago comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Drago has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
