PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hulk Harmon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom McReary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harmon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Coming Undone. Tom McReary has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Hulk Harmon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom McReary!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McReary looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Harmon wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McReary wants to control but Harmon is keeping him busy.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Harmon won't allow McReary to pass to mount.
McReary passes to full mount!
McReary controlling his opponent.
Harmon is in all sorts of trouble here.
Harmon takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harmon is breathing heavily.
Harmon flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
McReary controlling from the full mount.
Harmon tries to control the position but McReary now has his back.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McReary is landing with strikes from the back.
Oooh a big shot gets through from McReary. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Harmon is rocked!
McReary lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Oh Harmon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
McReary is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. McReary gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. McReary gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. McReary apologises and we restart here on the feet.
McReary Rushes Harmon and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Harmon is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. McReary Piles on the pressure and Harmon crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
