Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sakari Ostermalm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Razor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ostermalm's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Speedy ja Saku - Hän mies. Sakari Ostermalm has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ray Razor!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ostermalm looks to land a left hand but Razor moved out of range nicely.
Ostermalm fails with a takedown attempt.
Razor stuffs the takedown.

Razor looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ostermalm!
Ostermalm is looking to improve his position but Razor isn't that keen on the idea.
Razor tries to control but Ostermalm wriggling away.
Ostermalm tries to lock up and control but Razor gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Ostermalm manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Ostermalm is staying active underneath Razor, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Razor wants to pass the guard but Ostermalm is defending well.

Ostermalm regains full guard. Nicely done.

Ostermalm had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Razor is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ostermalm Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Razor's back instead.

Ostermalm is not going to allow Razor to sit and survive in this position.
Despite being in a bad position, Razor is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts.
Razor tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ostermalm is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Razor is desperately trying to improve his position but Ostermalm has a good base and remains in mount.
Razor is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Ostermalm has control of Razor's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Razor regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Ostermalm is breathing heavily.
Ostermalm thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Razor tries to buck Ostermalm off but he can't manage it.
Ostermalm will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ostermalm stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Ostermalm gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ostermalm wants to get back to striking at distance but Razor won't allow it.
Razor is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Ostermalm can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sakari Ostermalm. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Razor escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ostermalm shoots in but no luck this time.

Razor feints and as Ostermalm raises his hands in defense, Razor changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Razor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ostermalm. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ostermalm is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Razor frees his head nicely. Oh but Ostermalm has switched to an armbar! Razor is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
