Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Abel Stamp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Foster Barkley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Abel Stamp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Foster Barkley!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barkley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Barkley thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stamp looking to control.
Stamp looking to control but Barkley passes into half guard.
Stamp connecting with a few gentle strikes.
Barkley trying to pass the guard but Stamp defending well.

Barkley is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are battling for position here. Stamp manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Stamp wants to get back to his feet but Barkley is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Barkley won't allow Stamp to sweep him here.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Stamp scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Barkley fails with the takedown.
Barkley wants to clinch.
Barkley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stamp tries to avoid it but Barkley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stamp to the ground. Stamp escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Barkley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Stamp moves into range and clinches up with Barkley.
Stamp wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Barkley has him pressed against the cage.

Stamp breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Stamp throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stamp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stamp misses with a wild combination.
Barkley has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Stamp lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Stamp showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Barkley.
Barkley has a takedown stuffed.
Abel Stamp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Foster Barkley.
Barkley looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Stamp clinches up against the cage.
Stamp wants to break the clinch but can't.
Barkley wants a takedown but no success here.
Barkley gets underhooks to prevent Stamp's takedown attempt.

Barkley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Barkley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Stamp is working Barkley over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Stamp keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Barkley's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stamp is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Barkley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stamp manages to get himself to full guard.
Barkley won't allow Stamp to sweep him here.
Stamp wants to stand and escape but Barkley is having none of it.
Stamp wants to sweep here but Barkley controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Stamp working for a triangle but Barkley defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stamp looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Stamp lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Barkley!
Stamp working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Stamp landing strikes from the mount.
Stamp unloading with bombs!
Stamp lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Barkley trying desperately to get to his feet.
Barkley is in a horrible position here. Stamp smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Stamp blocks Barkley's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Barkley slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Barkley is pressing down on Stamp's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Barkley manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
BOOM! Barkley connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Barkley is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Stamp can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Barkley looking to isolate an arm here. Stamp doesn't see it coming and as Barkley extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Barkley!
