The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovic throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Gracie takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Filipovic lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Filipovic tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Filipovic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gracie takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gracie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Filipovic avoids it really well and circles away.
