Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Morris Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mack Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bear comes into the arena with Elephant Man - Haters (feat Hunt & Jim Jones) blaring out of the sound system. Junior has chosen I Come Thru: 50 cent feat. Maino, Dubs Dollah "AMV" as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Morris Bear!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mack Junior!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior takes a kick to the side of the head.
Junior is looking to clinch.
Bear fails with a takedown attempt.
Bear scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Bear darts in and clinches Junior up against the cage.
Junior trying to land knees to the body.
Junior wants to break free but Bear has control.
Bear really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Junior is trying to break the clinch but Bear has him pressed against the cage.
Bear effectively controlling the action here.

Junior wants to get back to striking at distance but Bear won't allow it.

Junior throws a combination that misses
and Bear counters with a body kick that stops Junior in his tracks momentarily.

Bear moves into the clinch.
Bear unloads a knee to the mid-section. Junior lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Junior goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Bear scores a nice knee to the body.

Bear breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bear lands a high kick!
Junior throws a sloppy head kick

and Bear counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Junior is looking for a triangle here but Bear uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Bear is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Junior has escaped the position, nice work there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Junior is trying to buck Bear off.

Bear is trying to get an arm triangle but Junior is defending well.

Bear decides to stand up, so the ref orders Junior to his feet.
A nice combination there by Junior.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Junior gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bear.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Junior's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Junior stuffs the takedown.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Junior throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Bear counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Junior doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Junior tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Junior is trying to force a seperation but Bear has the dominant position.

Bear escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bear closes this distance looking for a takedown but Junior circles away.
Bear throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Junior's waist but Junior gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bear off to one side.
Junior tries to bum rush Bear with a series of wild strikes but Bear uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bear decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Bear is working for a kimura but Junior is defending it quite comfortably.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bear shoots in looking for a takedown. Junior tries to sprawl out of it but Bear keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Junior manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Junior postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bear is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Junior, into his guard.

Junior throws his legs up looking for a submission but Bear uses it to pass to side control.
Junior is trying to get back to his feet.

Bear closes the distance and clinches.
Junior presses Bear against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Junior wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bear has him pressed against the cage.
Junior is trying to break the clinch but Bear is controlling him.
Junior wants to get back to striking at distance but Bear won't allow it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Bear counters by moving into the clinch.
Bear has Junior pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Junior manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Junior tries to stall but Bear uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Junior is trying to break free.
Mack Junior has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bear jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Junior walks away with a smile on his face. Bear gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Junior fails with an attempt to clinch.
Junior tries to close the distance and clinch but Bear swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Junior lands with a good body shot.
Junior stuns Bear with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Junior misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Mack Junior.
I think Bear has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
