The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warrior swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Warrior stuffs the takedown attempt from Kelso. Kelso gets slowly back to his feet.
Kelso tries to close the distance and clinch but Warrior swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Warrior looks to land a combination but Kelso avoids it well.
Warrior misses with the combination.
Warrior scores with a shot to the body.
Kelso swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kelso fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Warrior manages to avoid it.
Warrior lands a right hook to the body.
Warrior fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Warrior slips under a jab.
Warrior lands a glancing blow to the side of Kelso's head.
Ultimate Warrior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Warrior keeps the fight on the outside.
Warrior lands a left and a right that send Kelso crashing to the mat, dazed. Warrior thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Kelso is rocked!
It looks like Michael Kelso has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Warrior throws a right and a left that Kelso avoids nicely.
Oh Kelso is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Warrior is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Kelso flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Kelso is out cold! Warrior holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ultimate Warrior!
