Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyson Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Terrell Cruise!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruise fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cruise changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Cruise manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cruise.
Tyson Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terrell Cruise.
Cruise fails with a takedown attempt.
Cruise looks gassed!
Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cruise fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lee avoids it really well and circles away.
Lee wants to clinch up but Cruise keeps it at a distance.
Nice takedown defense from Lee. No joy for Cruise on that attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee tries to clinch up but Cruise circles away and keeps his distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lee.
Lee lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Lee shoots in for a takedown but Cruise shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cruise shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lee counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee lands a big head kick that sends Cruise tumbling to the mat! Lee takes a step backwards and waves Cruise back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Cruise is rocked!
It looks like Terrell Cruise has been cut.
Cruise loses concentration momentarily and Lee pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Cruise crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Lee finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tyson Lee!
