Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Shagowitcz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Rando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shagowitcz comes to the cage accompanied by I got erection - Turbo negro. Desmond Shagowitcz looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rando connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Shagowitcz looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Shagowitcz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rando is fending him off so far but Shagowitcz persists. Nope, Rando circles away and we're back to standing.

Shagowitcz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Rando darts in and clinches Shagowitcz up against the cage.
Shagowitcz tries to pull guard but Rando holds him up against the cage and eventually Shagowitcz drops back down to his feet.

I looks like Rando might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rando with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Shagowitcz takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Shagowitcz seems a little lost for a moment, as Rando dominates the positioning.

Rando decides to stand back up. Rando steps back and let's Shagowitcz get back to his feet.
Shagowitcz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rando's waist but Rando gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shagowitcz off to one side.

Shagowitcz swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rando is now in Shagowitcz's guard. A big mistake from Shagowitcz there, giving up the dominant position!

Shagowitcz is looking for a triangle but Rando pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shagowitcz has his foot on Rando's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rando works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Shagowitcz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rando's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rando's back!

Rando doesn't manage to clinch there - Shagowitcz circles away.

Shagowitcz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rando's guard.
Shagowitcz wants to pass the guard but Rando is keeping the position.
Rando is pulling down on Shagowitcz's head. It's preventing any offense from Shagowitcz, at least for the moment.
