The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez de Lima is looking to clinch.
Fuego shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Rodriguez de Lima is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Fuego pulls his head out easily.
Rodriguez de Lima is trying to get back to full guard.
Fuego thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rodriguez de Lima's head.
Fuego prevents Rodriguez de Lima from improving his position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Rodriguez de Lima manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Fuego in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fuego wants to stand but Rodriguez de Lima is controlling his posture from full guard.
Fuego stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rodriguez de Lima swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Fuego counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Fuego wants to pass the guard but Rodriguez de Lima is defending well.
Fuego has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fuego slips a nice elbow through Rodriguez de Lima's hands, connecting with Rodriguez de Lima's forehead.
