Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Asbjoern Andersson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quinton Evans!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersson misses with a body kick.
Evans thows a left - swing and a miss!
A jab from Evans finds it's way through Andersson's defenses.
Evans wants to clinch up but Andersson keeps it at a distance.
Evans swings for the body but Andersson moves out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Andersson lands a good knee to the midsection. Evans won't want to take too many of those.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Evans drops back looking for a leg! Andersson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Andersson manages to kick Evans off! Evans jumps back into Andersson's guard.

Evans thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Evans is trying to control. Andersson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Andersson is trying to maintain the position but Evans is very close to passing his half guard.
Andersson won't allow Evans to pass to mount.

Evans looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Evans throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Andersson was covering up waiting for the punch and Evans finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Evans is looking to work some ground and pound but Andersson has wrist control.

Evans wants to pass the guard but Andersson is defending well.

Andersson tries to control Evans's body but Evans pushes him off. Andersson squirms to his side and now Evans has his back!

Quinton Evans showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Evans connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Andersson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Evans tries to close the distance and clinch but Andersson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Evans misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Andersson.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Evans shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Andersson pinned against the cage. Andersson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Evans lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Andersson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Andersson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The fight stays on the outside here - Andersson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Evans drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Evans jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Evans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Andersson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Evans has gone for a leg lock! Andersson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Evans's guard.
Evans is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Evans isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Andersson stacks Evans on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Andersson!
Evans tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

I would just about give that final round to Quinton Evans.
I think Evans has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
