Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thorfinn Oden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike iupati (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oden comes to the cage accompanied by Element Eighty-Pancake Land. Thorfinn Oden is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oden shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has iupati pinned against the cage. iupati gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Oden attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
iupati fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Thorfinn Oden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
iupati fails to land with a series of punches.
Oden misses the shot to the body.
Oden shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
iupati throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
iupati swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Oden lands a nice leg kick that just misses iupati's sensitive parts.
iupati stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Oden ducks down and throws a hook to the body but iupati moves away.
A left lands for iupati.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Oden.

Oden shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. iupati is trying to defend but Oden finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oden is looking to take a break and control but iupati is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Oden lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Oden is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and iupati defends it well.

Oden closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Oden lands in his opponent's guard.
iupati really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Oden postures up in iupati's guard and throws a big left but iupati blocks it.
Oden stopping the sweep attempt from iupati.
Oden won't allow iupati to get back to his feet.
Oden trying to control the position from guard on top but iupati is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
iupati tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

iupati misses with the combination.

A nice inside leg kick there by Oden. That's going to slow iupati down.

and iupati cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
iupati throws a hook but Oden avoids it easily.

Oden closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. iupati did well to prevent Oden getting side control.

Oden seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Oden has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
iupati has hold of Oden's hands but Oden slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
