The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robinson drives through and clinches with Davis against the cage.
Davis tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Robinson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Davis's brow.
Davis is looking to break free of the clinch but Robinson has double underhooks.

Davis looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Davis is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Robinson can't find room to land a body shot as Davis controls the action.

Davis swings wildly with an uppercut but Robinson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Robinson is pressed up against the cage. Davis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Robinson down to the mat. Robinson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Robinson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Davis drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Robinson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Davis has Robinson in his guard.

Davis won't let Robinson get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Davis throws a wild left hand from mount and Robinson manages to wriggle his way back to half guard.

Davis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Robinson.

Robinson moves in looking to clinch but Davis pushes him off.
